Inspection Scope & Limitation of Liability

1. What the inspection is

An AutoVouched inspection is a visual and functional condition report prepared for the dealership's own internal use — typically to help decide whether to buy, arbitrate, retail, wholesale or recondition a vehicle.

It reflects conditions observable by the inspector at the time and place of inspection, using standard hand tools, an OBD-II scanner and photographs.

2. What the inspection is not

It is not a warranty, guarantee, certification, safety inspection, emissions certification, title or lien search, or appraisal of value.

It does not include disassembly, road testing beyond a short functional check, lifting the vehicle, paint-depth certification, frame measurement, or any destructive testing.

It cannot detect hidden, latent, intermittent or developing defects, prior repairs that are not visible, undisclosed damage history, or conditions that arise after the inspection.

3. Arbitration

Arbitration decisions rest solely with the auction and its rules. A report may be submitted as supporting information, but AutoVouched does not represent your dealership in arbitration and cannot guarantee any arbitration outcome, buy-back, price adjustment or timeline.

4. Limitation of liability

AutoVouched and Aralign are not liable for any error, omission, misgrading or inaccuracy in a report, or for any purchase, arbitration, resale, reconditioning, pricing or other business decision made in reliance on it.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to an inspection is limited to the fee paid for the specific inspection at issue. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential or lost-profit damages.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud or willful misconduct.

5. Your responsibilities

Provide accurate VIN and location details, arrange access to the vehicle and keys, and review the report promptly. Report any concern within 10 days of delivery so we can re-inspect where appropriate.
